| Resolution | Approving the Acceptance of a Grant Fund from the State of Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control for the Restoration of the Sugar Bowl Pavilion in Brandywine Park |
| Synopsis | This Resolution is being presented by the Administration for Council’s review and approval. If approved, Council would be authorizing the Parks and Recreation Department to accept a grant of $84,560 from the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control for the restoration of the Sugar Bowl Pavilion located in Brandywine Park. Acceptance of this grant requires a match of local dollars by the City. In this case, local matching funds will be provided by a non-profit organization—Friends of Wilmington Parks—which has been instrumental in the effort to restore the Sugar Bowl Pavilion. Originally constructed in 1902, the Sugar Bowl Pavilion, so named for its lid-shaped domed roof, was used as both a pavilion and an observatory. It once stood as the entrance to the Brandywine Zoo. For decades, the domed pavilion served as a venue for musical and cultural programs and as a gathering place for park visitors. |

| Synopsis | This Ordinance is being presented by the Administration for Council’s review and approval. If approved, Council would be supporting an application by the Woodlawn Trustees for a large-scale redevelopment of the Wilmington Flats residential community. The City’s Planning Commission approved the Woodlawn Trustees application on November 15, 2013. This Ordinance authorizes the Department of Licenses and Inspections to issue any and all building permits that conform to the approved redevelopment plan. |

| Synopsis | This Ordinance is being presented by the Administration for Council’s review and approval. If approved, Council would be authorizing the City to remove Springer Street from the Official City Map and dispose of the street to the Woodlawn Trustees as part of plans for a large-scale redevelopment of the Wilmington Flats residential community located in the City’s Little Italy area. |

If approved, Council would be authorizing a public hearing to be held on December 12, 2013 for the purpose of accepting public comments regarding Ordinance No. 13-040, which supports an application by the Woodlawn Trustees for a large-scale redevelopment of the Wilmington Flats residential community. |

If approved, Council would be authorizing the City to enter into an agreement with the Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) by which DelDOT provides the City with a $66,000 grant to support additional police patrols in the area of Rodney Square for a period of three months that began on November 8. |

| Synopsis | This Resolution is being presented by the Administration for Council’s review and approval. If approved, Council would be authorizing the City to enter into an agreement with the Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) by which DelDOT provides the City with a $66,000 grant to support additional police patrols in the area of Rodney Square for a period of three months that began on November 8. |

| Ordinance 1st & 2nd Reading | Amend Chapter 40 of the City Code as it Relates to City of Wilmington Take Home Vehicles |
| Synopsis | This Ordinance is being presented by City Council for Council’s review and approval. If approved, Council would be amending City Code to require that all City-issued government vehicles which are designated as “take home” vehicles for City employees must carry the City’s official seal on the front side doors of each vehicle. With this Code revision in place, the only City employees who would be exempt from displaying a City seal are three elected officials (the Mayor, the City Council President and the City Treasurer), the Mayor’s Chief of Staff and police officers who carry out their duties using undercover or unmarked vehicles. |

| Ordinance 1st & 2nd Reading | Approve and Authorize the Third Party Operator Agreement between the City of Wilmington and Leased Access Preservation Association |
| Synopsis | This Ordinance is being presented by the Administration and City Council for Council’s review and approval. If approved, Council would be approving a recommendation from the Wilmington Cable, Video and Telecommunications Commission (CVTC) that the Leased Access Preservation Association (LAPA) be named as the Third Party Operator (TPO) to manage a leased access and public access television station serving Wilmington and New Castle County. Council would also be approving a three-year contract (with options for two, one-year renewals) between the City and LAPA governing certain aspects of LAPA’s management of the television station. |
