#4336 An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 5 of the City Code Regarding Notification
to Neighborhood Planning Councils (1st & 2nd Reading)
Synopsis: This Resolution is being presented by the Council for Council’s review and approval.
If approved, Council would be amending Chapter 5 of the City Code to add a section requiring
that applicants for a building permit for work that is estimated to exceed $250,000 in value shall
provide notice to the Department of Planning and Development which shall then notify the
Neighborhood Planning Council for the area within which the building-permitted activity will
take place. The applicant shall make a presentation or shall receive a copy of a written waiver of
presentation by the Neighborhood Planning Council.

of Monthly Reports to Council from the Law Department (1st & 2nd Reading)
Synopsis: This Resolution is being presented by the Council for Council’s review and approval.
If approved, Council would be amending Chapter 2 of the City Code to require the City Law
Department to provide a monthly written report of all pending lawsuits, status of the lawsuits,
counsel representing the City, legal fees expended, and a list of all legal settlements made during
the month.
