An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 13 of the City Code Regarding Commercial Property Maintenance
Synopsis: This Ordinance is being presented by City Council for Council’s review and approval. This
Ordinance amends Chapter 13 of the City Code codifying procedures for commercial establishments requiring
the maintenance of property and to prevent unsafe and unsightly conditions. Wilmington City Council declares that it is in the public interest for the preservation of property values, promotion of civic pride, and protection of the public health and safety to establish minimum standards for the maintenance of commercial establishments
in improving the image of the City of Wilmington.
